I grew up in upstate New York on a steady diet of movies and animation which lead to me study Film at New York University.  There, I developed my skills as a traditional hand-drawn animator.  After graduation in 2003, I transitioned into VFX and compositing by starting my freelancing career with great NYC design and effects boutiques such as Transistor Studios, Curious Pictures, and Imaginary Forces.  In 2007, curiosity and good fortune brought me to Berlin, where I  had the opportunity to create more personal films and art while continuing my freelance career with talented agencies and studios such as Big Fish, Sehsucht, Zeitguised, Tamschick and Scholtz & Friends.  Over the last decade my work has evolved to include, motion graphic animation, animation direction, and the full production of animated explainer and image films. These film projects have blended my animation skills with my lifelong dedication to engaging storytelling, clear communication and education.  To that end, I am teaching motion graphics and character animation at CODE University in Berlin as well as developing After Effects training workshops for agencies and private clients.
